"The long walk" Is a canvas work which, as usual, was inspired by something I've seen on the street. The old man always walks alone. Slowly. head down. The rest of the world flies by but to him it all blurs into nothing.

I like the idea of seeing someone or something and creating an image from what I imagine their life to be. This image is scrawled with the history I imagined for him, details that are only real in my mind. 

Its a 'false portrait' of a real person. A myth created from a single image I have in my head.
